Lorna Terry

Lead Teacher

Miss Terry has a wide range of experience teaching both pupils at primary and secondary school in full a class, small groups and on a 1:1 private tutoring basis.

She is currently based at All Saints and is currently the subject lead in Maths and English Writing. Teaching and learning within education is something Miss Terry has always been passionate about and she inspires young people to find enjoyment and success through the sessions she teaches both in the classroom and in tuition sessions.  She teachers across all the range of  11+, KS3 & GCSE Study Write sessions.

Her students come from a combination of selective and non-selective settings.  The programme, whilst following the common themes of the National Curriculum is devised and developed around their own personal mathematical needs – her resources are often made and subject to them specifically.

Miss Terry understands the difference tutoring sessions can make in the lead up to the critical points in education (11+ entrance exam, Year Six SATs and GCSEs) and she thoroughly enjoys her Saturday afternoons spent with the Study Write students.

Miss Terry attended North Halifax Grammar school and states ‘I have witnessed what a difference a good education can have on future prospects; with this in mind, I wish to assist in providing others with the same brilliant opportunities as were presented to me’.
